The pipeline industry has benefitted from your efforts and I hope to add some information that will assist pipeline contractors and workers around the country. As you may or may not be aware, the Dept. of Transportation ( DOT ) has mandated an Assessment and Training Program for Pipeline workers and contractors who perform maintenance/repair work on existing gas and oil pipelines. Tradesmen International offers the Assessments, Training and Task Evaluations at over 40 locations nationally. Pipeline operators such as B.P.America, Marathon Ashland Petroleum, Dominion Gas, Exxon Mobile, to name a few, have informed their contractors of the requirements for their job sites. Contractors have until October, 2002 to comply. If any of your visitors need additional information I would be happy to assist them.
